Description:

The National Resume Writers' Association (NRWA) is the industry's leading not-for-profit, member-driven organization dedicated to promoting the highest standards of excellence in resume writing through certification, education, and mentoring programs. Many of our members are also involved in all aspects of the job search process, including career assessment, and interview / career coaching.

Their membership is made up of a diverse and global group of resume writers, career coaches, government and military career transition specialists, college and university career development professionals, and outplacement consultants.

Through their certification program, one can become a Nationally Certified Resume Writer (NCRW). There are two categories of NRWA membership: Regular Member and Associate Member. A regular member is defined as an individual who is engaged in the resume writing or career services field. Regular membership is for an individual, not a company. Employees or partners of an NRWA member are eligible for Associate membership.

Membership Info:

To be considered for the NCRW Certification, you must meet these criteria:

  • One must be a member of NRWA to begin the certification process.
  • Professionals who are considering beginning the certification process are strongly encouraged to have a minimum of two years experience in resume writing
